Wonderful artwork! Great scenery, especially Mycroft with the Union Jack as he "is" the government :D Very nice work

First I really wanted to name it "My brother, the British government " but it seemed to be a little long :)
Thank you!

You'r welcome :) I don't think "My Brother, the British government" is long. You could've omitted the "British" since that should be clear for every fan :D

I love the contrasts made here between the two brothers. Sherlock and Mycroft have such a fascinating relationship and I really think that you have highlighted both the similarities and differences of both men. It is elegant and simple (although I know it wasn't to make) and really catches the eye with its attention to both detail and colour.

The flag behind Mycroft is just gold too.

Dear Alea:

This is Indy. Greetings from Canada!!! I hope this finds you and yours well.

Let me honest with you--I don't like Mycroft Holmes. I hear that Mark Gatiss himself is a real blast, but I just don't like his character. I mean, bribing your little brother's flatmate to spy on your little brother is the highest in bad form. I've yet to have anyone convince of redeeming qualities for Mycroft.

Anyway, on to for why I am here.  You have captured both men excruciatingly well. Their differences seem to jump out at you.  Despite the fact that they are brothers, they are different as night and day. Your colours are well chosen and your putting the Union Jack behind Mycroft was given.  You can't get any other two guys who are as different as night and day as the Brothers Holmes.

This is going in my faves gallery.

Keep up the good work, kiddo!!!!

Oh thank you !

Sometimes I don't especially draw my favorite characters but in this case, I like them both.

I find the dynamic in their relations really interesting.
Mycroft is certainly not the most popular. They are both intelligent and know each other pretty well. (I don't think Sherlock really care about Mycroft trying to spy on him. But he might have studied the reaction of John about it. So, did Mycroft.)
I think their differences are that Sherlock is proud of how he solves problems where Mycroft is proud of what he solves. Then, next difference : why they do that. In my opinion Sherlock is more "acting to protect the weak and the helpless" first then ... if it help the country and many people "not my division". Mycroft is the opposite, "majority comes first and then if I save the country I might be able to take care of the minority".

These are my first thoughts about the Holmes. I'm not trying to convince you that Mycroft is a good guy. I just like ... well. I like these characters ! Anyhow thank you very much for your comment !

A bow to you! Completely done in photoshop. That is bow-worthy i tell you. And so realistic. My heart just skipped a beat (not trying to sound cheesy, but there is just no way i cannot) Gah. REALLY love this!!

Sherlock. Congratulations! You have captured his expression totally. I expect to be able to hear him talk just by looking at him.
And Mycroft looks like he posed for his prime minister portrait.
John: "Here to see the queen?"
Mycroft walks in...
