The relationhip between these two brother is so intriguing. I love it !
So Sherlock portrayed by Benedict Cumberbatch and Mycroft by Mark Gatiss , the two form BBC Sherlock TVshow

Please, don't reblog it on tumblr, use this link instead !
One of the most intriguing pair of brothers I have ever seen on screen and most interestingly portraied. I especially like the Union Jack behind Mycroft. I always wonder whether his near perfect intelligence made him who he is or the service to his country ... My apologies to Watson/Martin Freeman, but sometimes I think that Mycroft Holmes/Mark Gatiss is the more interesting character in the series.
Thanks a lot for sharing!
My dream was to be able to meet mark gatiss and ask him some questions about his role (being both a writer and actor of character that was not even here in the pilot).
But I was not even able to attend his masterclass
Thank you !
Just out of curiosity: Which masterclass? Does he give lectures on writing/acting? I did not know that.
And yes, it would be revealing to hear his thoughts about the series, most of all on the more "over the top" aspects of season three. However, I am so looking forward to the next season!
I love the contrasts made here between the two brothers. Sherlock and Mycroft have such a fascinating relationship and I really think that you have highlighted both the similarities and differences of both men. It is elegant and simple (although I know it wasn't to make) and really catches the eye with its attention to both detail and colour.
The flag behind Mycroft is just gold too.
This is Indy. Greetings from Canada!!! I hope this finds you and yours well.
Let me honest with you--I don't like Mycroft Holmes. I hear that Mark Gatiss himself is a real blast, but I just don't like his character. I mean, bribing your little brother's flatmate to spy on your little brother is the highest in bad form. I've yet to have anyone convince of redeeming qualities for Mycroft.
Anyway, on to for why I am here. You have captured both men excruciatingly well. Their differences seem to jump out at you. Despite the fact that they are brothers, they are different as night and day. Your colours are well chosen and your putting the Union Jack behind Mycroft was given. You can't get any other two guys who are as different as night and day as the Brothers Holmes.
This is going in my faves gallery.
Keep up the good work, kiddo!!!!
Believing in Sherlock Holmes always,
Sometimes I don't especially draw my favorite characters but in this case, I like them both.
These are my first thoughts about the Holmes. I'm not trying to convince you that Mycroft is a good guy. I just like ... well. I like these characters ! Anyhow thank you very much for your comment !
Sherlock. Congratulations! You have captured his expression totally. I expect to be able to hear him talk just by looking at him.
And Mycroft looks like he posed for his prime minister portrait.
John: "Here to see the queen?"
Mycroft walks in...
Beautiful. Sherlock's on the front line and Mycroft's in the background subtly manipulating. They really are a great combo ... when they're not sniping at each other.
Love the mood of it, colour contrasts and shear quality of the figures. First class. (Nosey me, what brushes did you use on their faces?)
It's my favorite these days. I used it on all my last digital paintings.
Self-made : a strange black spot with dynamic alpha and texture (the texture looks like more a very old cement wall than a piece of paper). (Sorry I don't have the right words in mind, my photoshop is currently in french ^^)
I won't put it online shortly too because I should sort which brushes are mine from the thousands and thousands I have ... "Cleaning" her brushes is not really funny ^^
excellent piece, makes me want to pick up a real brush again
I especially love your use of orange and blue - it just makes it that perfect dramatic colour scheme
This is just the picture I was waiting for!
